We love sharing our family's vacation home with others who enjoy and appreciate seclusion & nature. To enhance your stay, you will find in the entry, a list of many nearby activities, restaurants and places of interest along with some of our local favorites.
The water way....
Wolf Creek, a local gem, flows directly behind the house before converging with other waterways that eventually settle into the Gulf of Mexico. While tranquil, it is home to various wildlife species that require a safe distance from people. Occasional removal of driftwood and beach revitalization is common as mother nature cannot be controlled or predicted. However, we try our best to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, so please understand that the creek may not always be navigable by ANY type of boat, including kayaks. If this is a concern, please inquire before making reservations as alternative launch sites are close.
It is imperative that our guests respect the surrounding wildlife habitat and neighboring property owners by not allowing ANY debris in or around the waterways or leave garbage outside. By ordinance after 10pm, all noise must be kept indoors, not to be heard by neighbors.
Yurts and Private Suites....
Get ready for your next outdoor adventure, experiencing how the "Ole Timers" lived back in the day.
Exciting expansions are planned that include a Yurt compound designed to be primitive, "Off-Grid Style" camping for a Back-to-Nature experience!
The Yurt compound is for thrill seekers who love primitive camping, but prefer wood floors, cots, a wood stove to heat coffee/tea and solar lights to light a path. Access to the Yurt compound is approximately 300 ft by trail from the parking area, partway by crossing a wooden foot bridge over a year-round spring feed stream. The yurt compound will have a community toilet, running water to wash hands and a limited amount of cold water to rinse by outdoor shower. Each yurt will provide sleeping for up to six guests.
Private Suites will accommodate 4 people, each having a king bedroom and a loft with two twins, a kitchenette and private bath.

1. Safety.....While visiting, we want you to have a wonderful and safe vacation. Before your arrival, please take time to familiarize yourself with the many online websites providing educational data about the local wildlife species, paying close attention to the most hazardous and fragile, along with any first aid supplies in the event of physical contact. In general, your party is responsible to keep themselves at a safe distance from all wildlife, both on land and in the water.
2. All water drains (toilets, sinks and showers) are connected to a septic system and subject to clogging. Please do not flush anything other than 💩, TP and water, especially no wipes, sanitary products, q-tips, paper towels, kittens, puppies, cotton balls or you may create a Poopy Mess! 🤦♀️
